Exploring the mechanisms influencing urban residents' purchase intention and behavior towards carbon-labeled products:An integrated perspective of UTAUT2 and identity theory

基于城市居民的1137份调研数据,融合技术接受与使用扩展模型(UTAUT2)和身份认同理论,构建整合性分析框架,运用结构方程模型(SEM)与多群组分析进行实证检验,剖析城市居民碳标签产品购买意愿及低碳行为的影响机制.研究发现:社会影响与便利条件是激发购买意愿的核心驱动力,绩效期望、努力期望、角色认同和习惯亦有显著的正向驱动作用.购买意愿在各前因变量向低碳行为转化的过程中扮演着关键中介角色,其中,便利条件经由购买意愿的间接效应尤为突出.习惯展现出既能通过购买意愿间接影响,也能直接驱动低碳行为的"双路径"特征.消费水平的调节效应显著,经济约束是造成低消费群体"意愿-行为"鸿沟的关键障碍;与高消费群体相比,改善便利条件对低消费群体购买意愿的边际提升效应更强.基于研究结论从中国碳标签制度的精准化、差异化设计层面提供决策参考,以期推动城市居民绿色购买意愿向实际低碳行为转化.

Integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2(UTAUT2)and Identity Theory,this research constructs a comprehensive framework to analyze the underlying mechanisms of urban residents' purchase intention toward carbon-labeled products and their engagement in low-carbon behaviors.An empirical investigation was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)and multi-group analysis on a dataset of 1137 surveys collected from urban residents.The findings revealed that:Social influence and facilitating conditions emerged as the core determinants fostering purchase intention,with performance expectancy,effort expectancy,role identity,and habit also exerting significant positive effects.Purchase intention was identified as a key mediator in the causal chain from these antecedents to low-carbon behavior,wherein the indirect effect of facilitating conditions channeled through purchase intention was particularly pronounced.Habit was demonstrated to possess a unique dual-pathway characteristics,it not only directly drove the low-carbon behavior but also indirectly influenced purchase intention.A significant moderating effect of consumption level was also observed.Economic constraints were identified as the primary obstacle creating the"intention-behavior"gap for low-consumption groups.Comparatively,enhancing facilitating conditions yielded a stronger marginal effect on the purchase intention of low-consumption individuals than on their high-consumption counterparts.These results provide a decision-making reference for the precise and differentiated design of China's carbon labeling system,aiming to translate the green purchase intentions of urban residents into tangible low-carbon actions.
