Building an ecological security pattern based on ecosystem services supply-demand:A case study of ecological conservation areas in Beijing

生态系统服务(ES)供需平衡是实现区域可持续发展的核心调控途径,基于此构建生态安全格局,协调区域生态安全与人类福祉之间的关系.文中以北京生态涵养区为例,选择产水、食物、碳储存等6类ES,基于ArcGIS、InVEST模型和POI爬虫等对供给和需求进行定量评估,借助形态学空间格局分析(MSPA)和电路理论构建生态安全格局.结果显示:1)北京市生态涵养区ES供需表现出显著的空间分异特征,高供给区主要集中在怀柔和房山等林地资源富集的郊区地带,而高需求区则高度集聚于人口密度较大的城区.2)识别出生态源地70个,总面积为1720.80km2,包括怀柔和房山两大生态源地集群,其余生态源地零散分布在边缘区域.3)提取生态廊道131条、宽度为150m,生态夹点20处,生态障碍点42处.4)重点保护跨越昌平区长距离生态廊道上的生态夹点,通过生态修复疏通怀柔和房山生态源地集群内部短距离生态廊道上的梗阻,提升生态安全格局的整体稳定性与韧性.研究可为生态涵养区筑牢生态安全屏障、推动生态保护和绿色发展提供科学参考.

The balance between the supply and demand of ecosystem services is a central mechanism for advancing regional sustainability.Building an ecological security framework based on this principle can effectively coordinate the relationship between regional ecological security and human well-being.Taking Beijing's ecological conservation zones as a case,six representative ecosystem services:water production,food provision,carbon storage,soil conservation,recreation,and habitat quality,are selected to quantitatively assess the supply and demand of these services by integrating the ArcGIS,In VEST model,and POI crawlers.Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis(MSPA)and circuit theory are used to derive an ecological security pattern.Results indicate:1)Considerable spatial variation is evident in the distribution of ecosystem services supply and demand within Beijing's ecological conservation areas.High-supply zones are concentrated in forested suburban areas like Huairou and Fangshan,while high-demand zones cluster in densely populated urban districts.2)Seventy ecological source areas were identified,covering a total area of 1,720.80km2,including two major clusters in Huairou and Fangshan,with the remaining scattered along peripheral zones.3)131 ecological corridors were extracted,with wide150m,20 ecological pinch points and 42 ecological barrier point.4)Ecological pinch points along long-distance corridors spanning Changping District should be protected priorly.Obstructions on short-distance corridors within the Huairou and Fangshan clusters should be cleared through ecological restoration to enhance the overall stability and resilience of the ecological security framework.This research offers scientific guidance for strengthening ecological security barriers in conservation zones and advancing ecological protection and green development.
