Effect of nano-calcium carbonate on the rheological and mechanical properties of recycled aggregate self-compacting concrete

采用纳米碳酸钙对再生骨料自密实混凝土(RASCC)的流变性能与力学性能进行改善.基于混凝土等效砂浆法,利用流变仪精确测定流变参数,建立了流变参数与工作性能参数之间的关联关系.同时,通过微观性能试验揭示了纳米碳酸钙对力学性能的增强机理.结果表明,再生骨料相对于天然骨料对混凝土的流动性能和力学性能均有不利影响;添加 1.0%的纳米碳酸钙使 RASCC 的动态屈服应力和表观黏度分别降低了 10.0%和9.5%;纳米碳酸钙可促进水泥水化改善混凝土微观结构,降低孔隙率,当其掺量为0.5%、1.0%时,28 d 抗压强度分别增加了5.0%、9.3%,但其含量过多会引起团聚,降低对水化的促进作用,掺量为1.5%时,强度降低2.3%.

This study used nano-calcium carbonate to improve the rheological and mechanical proper-ties of recycled aggregate self-compacting concrete(RASCC).The values of the rheological parameters were accurately determined by rheometer using the concrete equivalent mortar method,the relationship between the rheological parameters and the workability parameters was established,and the enhance-ment mechanism of nano-calcium carbonate on the mechanical properties of RASCC was analyzed by the microscopic performance tests.The results showed that recycled aggregates have an adverse effect on the flowability and mechanical properties of concrete compared to natural aggregates;the content of nano-calcium carbonate at 1.0%reduced the dynamic yield stress and apparent viscosity by 10.0%and 9.5%,respectively.The 28 d compressive strength increased by 5.0%and 9.3%at 0.5%and 1.0%content of nano-calcium carbonate,respectively.It is due to that the nano-calcium carbonate could promote the cement hydration and improve the microstructure of concrete which reduced the porosity.However,too much of it would cause agglomeration and reduced its hydration-promoting effect,the 28 d compressive strength decreased by 2.3%,when the content of nano-calcium carbonate is 1.5%.
