概率密度函数在内蒙古VP型垂直摆倾斜仪地震频段噪声分析中的应用OA
Application of probability density function on noise analysis of VP vertical pendulum at the seismic frequency band in the Nei Mongol Zizhiqu
内蒙古地区海拉尔、呼和浩特和巴彦淖尔地震监测中心站 VP 型垂直摆倾斜仪运行质量较高,选取 2019-2023 年 3 台站 NS、EW 分量原始秒采样观测数据,分别采用概率密度函数和传统功率谱密度分析方法,对比分析 3 套垂直摆NS、EW 分量在地震频段(200-600 s)内连续 5 年的地震噪声水平(Seismic Noise Magnitude,SNM).结果显示,采用 2 种方法计算所得 SNM 值大小相近,均方根误差 RMSE 为 0.13,且年变趋势一致,表明概率密度函数分析方法可用于 VP 型垂直摆倾斜仪地震噪声水平评估.然而,在计算过程中,参与计算的数据选取范围存在差异.其中,传统计算方法需人工筛选 12 天的观测数据,且数据连续、相对平静、无地震事件、外部环境干扰较小,而概率密度函数分析方法则可选用全年观测数据.进一步说明,概率密度函数分析方法在地震噪声水平分析方面更为快速、全面.
VP vertical pendulums at the Hailar,Hohhot,and Bayannur seismic monitoring stations in the Nei Mongol Zizhiqu show high operational quality.Raw second sampling observational data of the NS and EW components from the 3 stations during 2019-2023 are selected.The seismic noise magnitude(SNM)in the seismic frequency band(200-600 s)for the NS and EW components over five consecutive years is compared and analyzed using the probability density function and the traditional power spectral density method,respectively.The results show that the SNM values calculated by the two methods are close,with a root-mean-square error(RMSE)of 0.13,and their annual variation trends are consistent.This indicates that the probability density function method can be applied to evaluating the seismic noise magnitude of VP vertical pendulums.When calculating background noise,the data selection ranges used by the two algorithms differ.Among them,traditional calculation methods require manual screening of 12 days of observation data,which must be continuous,relatively calm,free of earthquake events,and minimally affected by external environmental interference,while probability density function analysis methods can use annual observation data.Furthermore,the probability density function analysis method is faster and more comprehensive in analyzing seismic noise levels.
