Sensitivity of MJO simulation to the convective adjustment timescale in CAM6
对流调整时间尺度(tau)是影响全球环流模式中MJO模拟的关键参数之一,但其敏感性存在争议.本研究利用CAM6模式,通过设置精细的tau梯度试验(间隔0.5小时),系统探究了该参数对MJO模拟技巧的影响.结果表明,增大tau值(尤其是当tau大于两小时时)能显著提升MJO的模拟技巧,包括其振幅和东传信号.其背后的物理机制在于:较大的tau值抑制了对流的发生,使得更多水汽得以在边界层内累积,从而增强了MJO发展和传播所必需的边界层季节内水汽扰动.本研究不仅深化了对tau参数影响MJO物理过程的理解,也为未来通过优化对流参数化方案来改进MJO模拟提供了重要的理论依据和模式发展参考.
