A new exploration of labor education path in traditional Chinese medicine universities based on Embodied Cognition Theory:A case study of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
In response to the current problems in labor education at traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)colleges and universities, such as the absence of physical engagement, contextual disconnection, and insufficient value identification, this study explores innovative path based on Embodied Cognition Theory to enhance the effectiveness of education.Using theoretical construction and case analysis methods, this paper first explains the relevance of Embodied Cognition Theory in guiding TCM labor education, then systematically analyzes its current issues, and constructs an embodied implementation path of"physical presence-virtual-real integration-professional embedding",demonstrated with practical case from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The practical case shows that this path,by strengthening multi-sensory physical practices, leveraging omnimedia technology to empower scenario construction, and deepening the integration of professional education and labor education, effectively improves students'participation and identification, and promotes the deep integration of labor values and professional literacy. The labor education path based on Embodied Cognition Theory provides a valuable reference for TCM universities to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and to innovate talent training models.
