Applying the theory of"opening,closing,and pivoting"of the three Yin channels,this article explores the pathogenesis of pediatric enuresis from a holistic and interconnected perspective.It is proposed that inadequate opening transformation of the Taiyin channel,insufficient pivoting of the Shaoyin channel,and excessive closing regulation of the Jueyin channel can all lead to bladder incontinence and consequent enure-sis.Furthermore,during the pathological process,the opening,pivoting,and closing functions of the three Yin channels mutually influence one another,often resulting in combined patterns of disharmony.Therefore,the treatment of pediatric enuresis should emphasize restoring the normal opening,closing,and pivoting func-tions of the three Yin channels,thereby ensuring the adequate flow and orderly retention of qi,blood,and body fluids.At the same time,attention should be paid to distinguishing the primary and secondary aspects when patterns are concurrent,with the core principle being the regulation and restoration of the normal open-ing,closing,and pivoting functions.
