"六气""六淫"概念溯源与内涵演变之考释OA

[Objective]To systematically examine the conceptual origin,connotation and evolution of"Six Climatic Factors"and"Six Climatic Exopathogens",and to further explore the reasons behind their evolution.[Methods]The etymological origins of"Six Climatic Factors"and"Six Climatic Exopathogens"were analyzed through Chinese character exegesis.Literature research was conducted to trace the conceptual and theoretical development of these terms.By searching databases such as CNKI and Duxiu database,the reasons for the evolution of their connotations were comprehensively analyzed.[Results]Etymology showed"Six"evolved from a spatial symbol to a numeral and cultural icon."Qi"originated from observing natural vapors and became abstracted."Exopathogens"initially meant excessive water immersion,later implying excessiveness and disorder.Conceptual tracing showed that the notion of"Six Climatic Factors"emerged in the pre-Qin period,initially referring to"Yin,Yang,Wind,Rain,Darkness and Brightness".Although the term"Six Climatic Exopathogens"was not explicitly used during the period of Huangdi Neijing,it laid the conceptual foundation.The concept of"Six Climatic Exopathogens"was formally established in the Southern Song Dynasty and further developed by later physicians,gradually evolving into the recognized connotation of"Wind,Cold,Heat,Dampness,Dryness and Fire".Through comprehensive analysis,evolutionary reasons mainly involved the application of image thinking,the theoretical connection based on the correspondence between human and nature,and the process of determining etiology based on symptom pattern analysis within specific historical contexts.[Conclusion]The evolution of the connotations of"Six Climatic Factors"and"Six Climatic Exopathogens"reflects the development of etiology in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),providing a theoretical basis for the refinement of TCM theory and clinical practice.
