OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical comprehensive value of Qingzhuo Qudu pills in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms.METHODS:Taking Qingzhuo Qudu pills as the evaluation object,comprehensive evaluation was carried out around six dimensions of safety,efficacy,economical efficiency,inheritance and innovation,suitability and accessibility by retrieving literature and other materials.RESULTS:In terms of safety,Qingzhuo Qudu pills had low incidence of adverse drug reactions,mainly were gastrointestinal reactions and dizziness.In terms of efficacy,Qingzhuo Qudu pills demonstrated superior efficacy in the treatment of chronic prostatitis and urinary tract infection with the syndrome of dampness-heat diffusing downward,which was recommended by 4 guidelines,2 expert consensus and 1 diagnosis and treatment routine.In terms of economics,Qingzhuo Qudu pills combined with conventional treatment demonstrated a cost-effectiveness advantage in the treatment of chronic prostatitis.In terms of inheritance and innovation,the pharmaceutical composition,dosage form technology and quality control method of Qingzhuo Qudu pills had been granted national patents.In terms of suitability,the dosage form of Qingzhuo Qudu pills was appropriate,and the drug instructions conformed to the current regulations.In terms of accessibility,Qingzhuo Qudu pills was classified as Category B drugs in the National Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue,and the raw herbal materials could be sustainably supplied.CONCLUSIONS:Qingzhuo Qudu pills has good clinical value in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms.This study provides a scientific basis for the clinical application of Qingzhuo Qudu pills and offers a reference for the selection of the drug list.
