Objective To measure the level of high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta and ex-plore the impact of the digital technology on the high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta.Methods Based on panel data of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the entropy method is used to measure the level of high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta,and a panel regression model is used to test the public health effects of digital technology.Results There are intercity differences in the high-quality development of public health in the Yan-gtze River Delta,and the digital technology has a significant positive impact on the high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta.After replacing multiple models,the test results are still robust and reliable.The effect of digital technol-ogy empowering the high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta is more prominent at the core city level.Digital technology mainly promotes high-quality development of public health in the Yangtze River Delta by promoting technologi-cal innovation and resource allocation effects.Conclusion Therefore,various regions should strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure and fully leverage the promoting effect of the digital technology on the high-quality development of public health.
