基于改进霍夫-极坐标变换的圆形指示表表盘刻度自适应识别算法OACHSSCD
An adaptive recognition algorithm for circular dial scale marks based on improved Hough-polar transform
目的:针对圆形指示表表盘图像识别过程中因刻度分布不均、指针结构细微、边缘模糊、对比度低及光照不均等因素导致的读数识别难题,提出一种高精度的自动读数方法.方法:首先采用高斯滤波对图像进行预处理,以抑制噪声并增强边缘特征.随后利用霍夫圆变换初步定位表盘区域,并通过最小二乘法对圆心和半径参数进行优化.在此基础上,通过极坐标变换将圆形表盘转换为矩形图像,简化指针与刻度之间的几何关系.最后采用 Otsu 自适应阈值分割、图像反转及 Canny 算子实现特征增强与边缘检测,并通过列方向投影提取指针角 度,实现自动化读数.结果:6 组仪表图像的实验结果表明,该算法的平均绝对误差为0.10,平均相对误差为 1.46%.结论:该方法具有较高的识别精度和良好的鲁棒性,可满足实际工程中圆形指示表自动读数的应用需求.
Aims:Aiming at the difficulties in the reading recognition of circular indicator gauge dial images caused by uneven scale distribution,tiny pointer structure,blurred edges,low contrast and uneven illumination,this paper proposed a high-precision automatic reading method.Methods:Firstly,Gaussian filtering was employed to preprocess the images so as to suppress noise and enhance edge features.Then,the Hough circle transform was used to preliminarily locate the dial region;and the least squares method was adopted to optimize the parameters of the circle center and radius.The circular dial was converted into a rectangular image through polar coordinate transformation,which simplified the geometric relationship between the pointer and the scales.Finally,Otsu adaptive threshold segmentation,image inversion and the Canny operator were used to achieve feature enhancement and edge detection;and the pointer angle was extracted via column-direction projection to realize automatic reading.Results:Experiments of 6 instruments gauge images showed that the average absolute error was 0.10 and the average relative error was 1.46%.Conclusions:The results demonstrate that the proposed method has high recognition accuracy and good engineering application value.
