To address issues such as the saturated transportation of railway trunk lines,the lack of east-west trunk lines,and the low technical standards,slow train speeds,and low utilization rates of branch railways in the Chenzhou region,the current status and existing problems of railways in the Chenzhou region were analyzed,and the capacities of existing lines and stations were assessed.In combination with the introduction of the Xingyong-Chenzhou-Ganzhou Railway in upper-level planning,three series of plans,namely introducing the railway to Chenzhouxi Station,Chenzhou Station,and Chenzhoubei Station,were primarily proposed.After comparative analysis and research,the plan of introducing the railway to Chenzhouxi Station was recommended.Furthermore,the planning of the passenger transportation system,freight transportation system,dedicated lines,and decomposing system was further clarified to form a new railway network architecture with a"cross layout and multi-directional connections"in the Chenzhou region,adapting to the new situation of regional socio-economic development.
