Comprehensive evaluation of production performance of forage sorghum cultivated on saline-alkali land along south bank of the middle Yellow River

试验旨在筛选适宜黄河中游南岸盐碱地种植的饲用高粱品种,并明确其最佳收获期.选取3个在当地广泛应用的饲用高粱品种,分析其在抽穗期、乳熟期、蜡熟期的农艺性状和营养品质,运用灰色关联度法进行综合评价.结果显示,饲用高粱3701的抗倒伏性最强,叶宽(5.99 cm)、叶片数(10.30个)、干鲜比(0.40)、茎叶比(2.08)、干草产量(24 905.04 kg/hm2)、鲜草产量(61 986.53 kg/hm2)、可溶性糖含量(9.56%)、粗脂肪含量(1.35%)显著高于糖宝和捷豹(P<0.05),酸性洗涤纤维(29.15%)、全钾(11.45%)和粗灰分(4.07%)含量均显著低于糖宝和捷豹(P<0.05).各品种蜡熟期的茎粗(12.66 cm)、叶片数(9.20个)、干鲜比(0.43)、干草产量(23 227.15 kg/hm2)和可溶性糖(9.88%)、可溶性淀粉(21.95%)、粗脂肪(1.23%)、单宁(≥1.20%)含量显著高于抽穗期和乳熟期(P<0.05),中性洗涤纤维(45.77%)、全钾(9.42%)、粗灰分(4.08%)含量显著低于抽穗期和乳熟期(P<0.05).研究表明,饲用高粱3701的综合生产性能较好,更适宜在黄河中游南岸盐碱地及相近地区推广种植.若进行鲜饲或调制干草,推荐在蜡熟期收获;若用于青贮,推荐在乳熟期进行收获.

The experiment aimed to screen suitable forage sorghum varieties for cultivation in saline-alkali land along the south bank of the middle Yellow River and determine the optimal harvest period.Three widely used forage sorghum varieties were selected to analyze their agronomic traits,nutritional quality during the heading stage,milky stage,and wax ripening stage,with a comprehensive evaluation conducted using the grey correlation method.The results showed that the forage sorghum variety 3701 exhibited the strongest lodging resistance,the leaf width(5.99 cm),leaf number(10.30),dry-to-fresh ratio(0.40),stem-to-leaf ratio(2.08),dry grass yield(24 905.04 kg/hm2),fresh grass yield(61 986.53 kg/hm2),soluble sugar content(9.56%),and crude fat content(1.35%)were significantly higher than those of Tangbao and Jiebao(P<0.05),its concentrations of acid detergent fiber(29.15%),total potassium(11.45%),and crude ash(4.07%)were significantly lower than those of Tangbao and Jiebao(P<0.05).During the wax ripening stage,the stem diameter(12.66 cm),leaf number(9.20),dry-to-fresh ratio(0.43),dry grass yield(23 227.15 kg/hm2),and the concentrations of soluble sugar(9.88%),soluble starch(21.95%),crude fat(1.23%),and tannin(≥1.20%)of all varieties were significantly higher than those in the heading stage and milky stage(P<0.05),while the concentrations of neutral detergent fiber(45.77%),total potassium(9.42%),and crude ash(4.08%)were significantly lower than those in the heading stage and milky stage(P<0.05).The study shows that forage sorghum variety 3701 had a better overall production performance and is more suitable for promotion and cultivation in saline-alkali land along the south bank of the middle Yellow River and similar regions.For fresh forageing or dry grass production,harvesting during the wax ripening stage is recommended,while for silage,harvesting during the milky stage is advisable.
