Duiling is a unique category of traditional Chinese embroidery and textile craftsmanship.This paper systematically analyzes the three-dimensional composition rules and visual characteristics of Duiling patterns.By employing the methods of hierarchical decomposition,contour extraction,color summarization,texture simulation,and planar reconstruction,the three-dimensional layers of Duiling patterns are decomposed into independently extractable planar units,achieving a systematic transformation from three-dimensional forms to digital planar graphics.This study provides a reference for the digital innovative application of three-dimensional traditional crafts.
