2024年中国台湾花莲海域7.3级地震是该地区7级地震平静17年后的首次7级事件,标志着区域地震活动形势的转变.此研究通过收集台湾岛及周边地区大量震源机制解数据,反演获得0.1°×0.1°网格点的最优破裂面和辅助面,并将其作为接收断层,计算了花莲海域7.3级地震产生的静态库仑应力变化.结果显示:该地震的余震分布与库仑应力加载/卸载作用的显著影响区对应较好;在震中东部和东北部存在两处库仑应力超过阈值的加载区,其未来发生中强震的危险性有所增加.
The M7.3 earthquake in the Hualien offshore area of Taiwan,China,in 2024 was the first M7 event in the region following a 17-year quiescence of seismic activity at this magnitude,indicating a shift in the regional seismic pattern.This study collected a large number of focal mechanism solutions from Taiwan Island and its surrounding areas.Through inversion,the optimal rupture planes and auxiliary planes at 0.1°×0.1° grid points were obtained and used as receiver faults to calculate the static Coulomb stress changes caused by the M7.3 earthquake in the Hualien offshore area.The results show that the aftershock distribution corresponds well to areas significantly affected by Coulomb stress loading/unloading;there are two loading areas with Coulomb stress exceeding the threshold in the east and northeast of the epicenter,and the risk of moderate and strong earthquakes in the future increases.
