圈养小麂及其近缘物种肠道细菌组成分析OA

Gut bacterial composition in captive Chinese muntjac and its relative species of the Cervidae

采集圈养小麂(Muntiacus reevesi)粪便,利用Illumina MiSeq高通量测序技术,解析其肠道细菌组成.与梅花鹿(Cervus nippon)、马鹿(C.elaphus)、白唇鹿(C.albirostris)等近缘鹿科物种进行比较,结果表明:小麂肠道细菌在门水平上以厚壁菌门(Firmicutes,51.90%)、拟杆菌门(Bacteroidota,25.04%)和螺旋体门(Spirochaetota,11.60%)为主,在属水平上以密螺旋体属(Treponema,11.59%)和 UCG-010 属(11.47%)为主;不同年龄阶段间菌群结构相似;小麂肠道细菌的多样性最高,且在螺旋体门及其下游类群上富集,呈现其独特的系统发育特征.不同物种间菌群在组成与多样性上存在显著差异,提示在相似圈养条件下,宿主系统发育地位对菌群结构具有主导作用.

Fecal samples were collected from captive Chinese muntjac(Muntiacus reevesi),and Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing was used to characterize their gut bacterial composition.Compared with that of the closely related cervid species including sika deer(Cervus nippon),red deer(C.elaphus),and white-lipped deer(C.albirostris),the gut bacterial community of the Chinese muntjac was dominated at the phylum level by Firmicutes(51.90%),Bacteroidota(25.04%),and Spirochaetota(11.60%),and at the genus level by Treponema(11.59%)and UCG-010(11.47%).The microbial community structure was similar across different age groups.The Chinese muntjac harbored the highest gut bacterial diversity,and an enrichment of Spirochaetota and its downstream taxa,suggesting its distinct phylogenetic signature.Significant differences in both composition and diversity were observed among the related species,implying that under similar captive conditions,host phylogenetic status exerts a dominant influence on gut microbial community structure.
