Needle-free injection technology refers to a drug delivery method that uses a needle-free injector to pressurize biological products,forming a high-speed jet stream that penetrates the skin and delivers them to the appropriate depth.The needle-free syringe has a variety of pressure methods,controlled injection depth and dosage,and can deliver liquid and powder preparations.Compared with needle injection,needle-free injection technology can alleviate the fear of needles and pain stress in both humans and animals,improve vaccination efficiency,vaccine immune effect and animal welfare.This article introduces the development history of needle-free injectors,the principle of immunization,the power sources of different needle-free injectors,and summarizes the articles on immunization and immune effect evaluation using needle-free injectors,providing a theoretical basis for the application and development of needle-free immunization in the prevention and control of animal diseases in the future.
