通窍化瘀利水汤联合脑室-腹腔分流术治疗特发性正常压力脑积水的效果OA

Objective:To explore the effect of adding Tongqiao Huayu Lishui Decoction on the basis of ventriculoperitoneal shunt in the treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus.Method:A total of 102 patients with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from September 2023 to March 2025 were selected.They were divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method,with 51 cases in each group.The control group was treated with ventriculoperitoneal shunt,while the observation group was treated with Tongqiao Huayu Lishui Decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared at 4 weeks after the operation.The TCM syndrome scores,neurological functions and quality of life of the two groups before the operation and 4 weeks after the operation were compared.Result:Four weeks after the operation,the NIHSS scores and TCM syndrome scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Four weeks after operation,the Tinetti gait assessment scale score and all dimensions of the generic quality of life inventory-74 scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Four weeks after operation,the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus undergoing ventriculoperitoneal shunt,combined treatment with Tongqiao Huayu Lishui Decoction can improve the neurological function impairment of the patients,enhance the TCM syndrome score,and effectively improve the clinical efficacy.
