河南省某地级市颌面部外伤流行病学特征分析OA

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of maxillofacial trauma in a prefecture-level city in Henan Province.Methods The data of patients with maxillofacial trauma treated in the Department of Plastic Surgery of the Second People's Hospital of Nanyang from July 2024 to June 2025 were investigated and analyzed.The gender,age,time of injury,time from injury to hospital visit,cause of injury,distribution of wound sites,postoperative anti-scar measures,and postoperative scar assessment of the patients were statistically analyzed.Results Among the 496 patients in this group,325 were male and 171 were female,with a male-to-female ratio of approximately 1.90.The age range was from 1 to 70 years.The patients were divided into 7 age groups:0-10 years,11-20 years,21-30 years,31-40 years,41-50 years,and over 51 years.The 0-10 age group had the largest number of patients,with 203 cases,accounting for 41%.The number of patients decreased with increasing age.The time of injury was mainly concentrated at 20:00,22:00,18:00,and 14:00.The main cause of injury was falling.The top two injured sites were the frontal region and the mandible.Conclusion Maxillofacial trauma occurs in all age groups,with the frontal region being the most vulnerable site.The younger the age group,the higher the incidence of trauma.
