Rural entrepreneurial activities play an important role in driving rural revitalization,and entrepreneurs'social capital is crucial for their entrepreneurial activities.Taking Lidong village in Huizhou city as the research area,this study analyzes the social capital of local and external entrepreneurs in rural areas from six dimensions:community participation,sense of community belonging,cooperation,sharing,reciprocity,and trust,and uses regression to explore its influencing factors.The study found that:(1)The overall level of social capital and the scores across all dimensions were higher among local entrepreneurs than among non-local entrepreneurs.Specifically,local entrepreneurs showed the highest score in community belonging,while non-local entrepreneurs scored highest in reciprocity;meanwhile,both groups had relatively low scores in the dimension of cooperation.(2)From the perspective of influencing factors,gender has no significant impact on their social capital level,while age,education level,and political status all have significant impacts on one or more dimensions of social capital,among which age has the greatest impact on rural entrepreneurs'social capital.Based on this,as rural local entrepreneurs,they should make full use of online platforms to expand their publicity channels,while external entrepreneurs should actively integrate into the local community network to form a win-win relationship with local entrepreneurs.The government needs to encourage young people to return to their hometowns for entrepreneurship through funding subsidies,improving the level of local educational resources,and other means.
