Identifying Source Areas in Urban Wildlife Habitat Networks Based on Species Habitat-Suitability Assessment:A Case Study of Qingpu District,Shanghai
[目的]构建物种适生性评估方法,识别城市局地尺度野生动物生境网络"源地",促进城市生物多样性保护.[方法]以上海市青浦区为例,基于高清遥感卫星影像以及人口、道路、物种信息等多源数据,明确代表物种筛选、生境分类与干扰指数分析原则,定量测算生境斑块对物种的支持水平及其受人为干扰的影响 程 度,确定野生动物生境网络"源地".[结果]研究区域具有高物种适生价值的"源地"195.8 km2.农田生境是"源地"的主要来源;城镇生境周边的自然或半自然生境可发挥"源地"作用,但越靠近城镇,"源地"面积越小且分布更为分散.[结论]基于城市野生动物栖息地适宜生境和关键物种间的耦合性,建立"生境分类-代表物种选取-生境物种支持水平测算-人为干扰测算-源栖息地识别"的技术方法,可为在城市局地尺度空间规划中落实生物多样性保护行动提供参考.
[Objective]This study aimed to develop a species habitat-suitability assessment approach for identifying source areas within urban wildlife habitat networks at the local urban scale,thereby supporting urban biodiversity conservation.[Method]The analysis was conducted at the local scale in Qingpu District,Shanghai.High-resolution satellite imagery was combined with multi-source data on population distribution,road networks,and species records.We first developed criteria for selecting representative species,classifying habitat types,and assessing anthropogenic disturbance.The capacity of individual habitat patches to support target wildlife species was then quantified and adjusted according to the intensity of human disturbance.Based on the integrated suitability assessment,habitat patches with high species-support capacity were identified as source areas in the urban wildlife habitat network.[Result]The empirical research ultimately identified 195.8 km2 of"source"areas with critical habitat value.It is found that farmland habitats constitute the main component of"source"patches;natural or semi-natural habitats adjacent to urban habitats can function as"sources",yet the closer they are to urban habitats,the smaller and more scattered.[Conclusion]By coupling suitable habitats for urban wildlife with key species requirements,this study developed an integrated technical framework comprising habitat classification,representative species selection,habitat species-support capacity assessment,anthropogenic disturbance evaluation,and source habitat identification.The proposed framework provides a methodological reference for incorporating biodiversity conservation actions into local-scale urban spatial planning.
