不同饲用燕麦品种种子萌发期抗旱能力评价OA
Evaluation of Drought Resistance of Different Forage Oat Varieties during Seed Germination Stage
为探究饲用燕麦萌发期的抗旱能力,以饲用燕麦品种中燕1号、陇燕3号、丹麦440和白燕7号为试验材料,采用纸间发芽法,在种子萌发期对其进行不同浓度(10%、15%、20%、25%)的聚乙二醇-6000(PEG-6000)人工模拟干旱胁迫,以蒸馏水为对照(CK),研究干旱胁迫对供试饲用燕麦品种发芽率、苗长、最长初生根和重要生理指标等的影响.结果表明,与CK相比,在15%PEG-6000处理下,供试燕麦品种的发芽率均显著降低(P<0.05),10%PEG-6000处理下的发芽率并无明显变化(P>0.05),而在20%和25%PEG-6000处理下种子均不能正常发芽.因此,15%的PEG-6000是区分干旱胁迫下供试燕麦种子萌发的敏感胁迫浓度.随着PEG-6000浓度的升高,供试燕麦品种的苗长、最长初生根、相对发芽率、苗长抗旱系数和最长初生根抗旱系数均呈下降趋势;可溶性糖(SS)、可溶性蛋白(SP)和脯氨酸(PRO)含量呈上升趋势;而超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)和过氧化物酶(POD)活性的变化规律各不相同.与CK相比,不同浓度PEG-6000胁迫处理显著增加了供试燕麦品种的SP和丙二醛(MDA)含量(P<0.05),且中燕1号和丹麦440的POD、CAT和SOD活性显著提高(P<0.05).通过隶属函数综合评价得出,供试燕麦品种的抗旱能力强弱依次为:中燕1号>丹麦440>白燕7号>陇燕3号,表明中燕1号的抗旱性较强,适宜在干旱半干旱地区推广种植.
To investigate drought resistance of forage oats during germination stage,four forage oat varieties,including Avena sativa cv.Zhongyan No.1,Avena sativa cv.Longyan No.3,Avena sativa cv.Danmai No.440,Avena sativa cv.Baiyan No.7,were selected as experimental materials.Germination tests were conducted using the between-paper method,and drought stress was artificially simulated with polyethylene glycol-6000(PEG-6000)solutions at concen-trations of 10%,15%,20%,and 25%,with distilled water serving as the control(CK).The influence of drought stress on germination rate,seedling length,longest initial root,and key physiological parameters of the tested oat varieties was systematically examined.The results showed that,compared with the control(CK),the germination rate of the tested oat varieties was significantly reduced(P<0.05)under 15%PEG-6000 treatment.In contrast,no significant dif-ference was observed under 10%PEG-6000 treatment(P>0.05),and seeds failed to germinate normally under 20%and 25%PEG-6000 treatments.Therefore,15%PEG-6000 was identified as the sensitive stress concentration for dis-tinguishing the germination responses of the tested oat seeds under drought stress.Furthermore,with increasing PEG-6000 concentration,seedling length,longest initial root,relative germination rate,seedling drought tolerance coeffi-cient,and primary root drought tolerance coefficient all exhibited a decreasing trend.However,the contents of soluble sugars(SS),soluble proteins(SP),and proline(PRO)increased progressively,whereas the activities of superoxide dis-mutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),and peroxidase(POD)showed variable patterns depending on the variety and treatment.Compared with CK,PEG-6000 treatments significantly increased SP and malondialdehyde(MDA)content in the tested varieties(P<0.05),and significantly enhanced POD,CAT,and SOD activities in Zhongyan No.1 and Danmai No.440(P<0.05).Based on the comprehensive evaluation using membership function analysis,the drought resistance of the tested oat varieties ranked as follows:Zhongyan No.1>Danmai No.440>Baiyan No.7>Longyan No.3.These re-sults indicated that Zhongyan No.1 possessed superior drought tolerance and was suitable for cultivation and promotion in arid and semi-arid regions.
