基于炎症反应探讨四妙勇安汤对ApoE-/-小鼠动脉粥样硬化的影响OA

Objective To explore the effects of Simiao Yong'an Decoction(SMYAD)on atherosclerosis(AS)and associated inflammation in ApoE-/-mice.Methods ApoE-/-mice were randomly divided into model group,low-dose,medium-dose,and high-dose SMYAD groups(5.35,10.7,21.4 g/kg),and atorvastatin group(3.0 mg/kg).C57BL/6 mice of the same genetic background were used as the control group,with seven mice in each group.AS model was established by feeding high-fat diet for five weeks.From the 6th week onward,the mice received intragastric administration of the drug or normal saline for five consecutive weeks.Serum lipid levels were measured using an automatic biochemical analyzer,and serum levels of interleukin(IL)-1β and intercellular adhesion molecule(ICAM)-1 were measured by ELISA.Results SMYAD had no significant effects on the general condition or body weight of the mice.Compared with the control group,the model group showed significantly increased serum levels of total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),IL-1β,and ICAM-1(P<0.01),as well as an increasing trend in triglyceride(TG)levels.Compared with the model group,SMYAD significantly reduced serum levels of TC,LDL-C,IL-1β,and ICAM-1(P<0.05),and also showed a decreasing trend in TG levels.Conclusion SMYAD ameliorates AS in ApoE-/-mice by regulating blood lipids and inhibiting inflammation.
