药食同源生姜的活性成分及功能作用研究进展OA

Objective To systematically explore the intrinsic relationship among the traditional efficacy,chemical composition,and modern biological effects of ginger as a representative food-medicine homologous substance,and to provide a theoretical basis for its functional development and health-related applications.Methods Relevant literature in recent years on the active ingredients and pharmacological effects of ginger were reviewed and analyzed.The major active ingredients and their biological effects of ginger were summarized from the perspectives of theoretical basis,chemical composition,and mechanisms of action.Results Ginger mainly contains volatile oils,gingerols,shogaols,and polysaccharides as its principal active ingredients.These components exert anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,gastrointestinal motility-regulating,immune-enhancing,and metabolic-improving effects by regulating multiple signaling pathways,including inflammatory response,oxidative stress,gastrointestinal function,and immune response.Relevant studies have indicated that the various biological effects of ginger are characterized by multi-component synergy and multi-pathway regulation.Conclusion Ginger participates in the regulation of body homeostasis through multi-component synergy,and there is a good correspondence between its modern biological effects and traditional functions.This provides a theoretical basis for the modern scientific interpretation of its food-medicine homologous characteristics and for its application in functional foods and health interventions.
