Breast cancer is a type of malignant tumor that is a major threat to women's health and is prone to recurrence and metastasis.Traditional therapeutic methods are associated with serious side effects and have limited efficacy.Food-medicine homologous Chinese medicinal materials have garnered significant attention in breast cancer prevention and treatment research due to their advantages of multi-target action,multi-component synergy,high efficacy,and low toxicity.These components not only possess basic pharmacological activities but also exert anti-breast cancer effects through mechanisms such as inhibiting proliferation,inducing apoptosis,reversing drug resistance,and regulating signaling pathways.Furthermore,this article systematically summarizes the anti-breast cancer mechanisms of food-medicine homologous Chinese compound formulas,providing new strategies for promoting comprehensive prevention and treatment of breast cancer as well as the modernization of food-medicine homologous Chinese medicinal materials.
