河西走廊中部人工梭梭林群落生物量和碳储量研究OA
Biomass and Carbon Storage of Artificial Haloxylon ammodendron Community in the Central Hexi Corridor
梭梭(Haloxylon ammodendron)是西北干旱区的超旱生建群种,研究其群落生物量和碳汇功能具有重要意义.以河西走廊中部人工梭梭林为对象,通过样地选取与样方调查,采用实测法系统测定不同林龄(5、10、15、20、25 年)梯度下梭梭群落生物量、各器官含碳率以及土壤有机碳含量,分析不同林龄人工梭梭林群落生物量和碳储量现状.结果表明:(1)人工梭梭林单株生物量随林龄增加呈现先增后降的趋势,在 20 年生时达到峰值(11.28 kg/株),随后显著降低.(2)树皮和树干为碳固定主要器官,其含碳率随林龄增加呈净积累趋势,而树根、树枝和树叶表现出碳循环特征.(3)随着梭梭林龄的增加,表层土壤有机碳含量表现出先增后降的趋势,基本上在林龄为 15~20 年时达到最大,而在较深土壤层中,土壤有机碳含量与林龄没有表现出规律性变化,且土壤有机碳含量主要集中在 0~50 cm 土层,呈现表层聚集现象.(4)不同龄级人工梭梭林生态系统各碳层的总碳储量表现出先增后降的趋势,在树龄为 15 年生时达到最大;人工梭梭林碳储量的主体是植被层,其次是枯落物层,而只有极少部分分布在土壤层;各个龄级人工梭梭林的总碳储量为 118.012万 t.未来应通过调控林分密度,充分利用梭梭生长特性,延长中龄期(15~20 年生)碳积累阶段,同时促进凋落物分解以提升土壤层碳储量,增加人工梭梭林总碳储量,从而维持生态系统碳平衡.
Haloxylon ammodendron is an extremely drought-tolerant constructive species in arid regions of northwestern China.Studying its community biomass and carbon sink function is of great significance.Taking the artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forest in the central part of the Hexi Corridor as the re-search object,the biomass of the Haloxylon ammodendron community,the carbon content of each organ,and the soil organic carbon content were systematically measured under different forest age gradients(5,10,15,20,25 years)through plot selection and plot investigation.The biomass and carbon storage status of the artificial Haloxylon ammodendron community at different forest ages were analyzed.The results showed that:(1)The biomass of individual plants in the artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forest showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with increasing forest age,reaching its peak at 20 years old(11.28 kg∕plant),and then significantly decreasing.(2)Bark and trunk are the main organs for carbon fix-ation,and their carbon content shows a net accumulation trend with increasing forest age,while roots,branches,and leaves exhibit carbon cycling characteristics.(3)As the age of the Haloxylon ammodendron forest increases,the surface soil organic carbon content shows a trend of first increasing and then decrea-sing,reaching its maximum at 15-20 years of forest age.However,in deeper soil layers,there is no regular change in soil organic carbon content with forest age,and the soil organic carbon content is mainly concen-trated in the 0-50 cm soil layer,showing a surface aggregation phenomenon.(4)The total carbon storage of each carbon layer in the artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forest ecosystem at different age levels showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing,reaching its maximum at the age of 15 years;The main body of carbon storage in artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forests is the vegetation layer,followed by the litter layer,with only a very small portion distributed in the soil layer;The total carbon storage of artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forests of various age groups is 1.180 12 million t.In the future,forest density should be regulated to fully utilize the growth characteristics of Haloxylon ammodendron,extend the carbon accumulation stage at the medium age(15-20 years old),and promote litter decomposition to increase soil carbon storage,thereby increasing the total carbon storage of artificial Haloxylon ammoden-dron forests and maintaining ecosystem carbon balance.
