北京地区高比例RAP热再生沥青混合料路用性能演化及合理掺量研究OA
Evolution of Road Performance and Reasonable Dosage of High Proportion RAP Hot Recycled Asphalt Mixture in Beijing Area
为明确北京地区高比例废旧沥青路面材料(RAP)热再生沥青混合料的临界掺量、路用性能演化规律及调控方案,以北京市高等级道路中服役12年的SMA-13型RAP为研究对象,设计0%~50%RAP掺量的热再生沥青混合料,开展体积性质、高温稳定性、水稳定性、低温抗裂性能、疲劳性能等系列试验,结合胶结料微观性能、新旧沥青融合特征测试,引入低温安全系数、疲劳安全系数及综合判定指标构建临界掺量量化判据,并探究芳香族油类再生剂(R1)、复合型再生剂(R2)在临界掺量区间的调控效果.结果表明:RAP掺量的增加使混合料高温稳定性持续提升,水稳定性呈缓慢劣化趋势,但仍满足规范要求,低温抗裂性能及疲劳性能为临界掺量判定的主控指标;30%~40%RAP掺量为混合料性能临界转变区间,该区间内混合料有效沥青膜厚跌破10 μm,低温弯拉应变、疲劳寿命加速劣化,胶结料刚度剧增、黏弹性显著减弱,老化程度快速加剧;再生剂对临界掺量区间混合料性能提升存在最佳掺量5%,其中R1调控效果优于R2,可有效改善新旧沥青融合效果,但无法完全抵消高掺量RAP带来的性能劣化.基于量化判据及北京地区气候、交通与工程特征,确定北京地区SMA-13热再生沥青混合料RAP临界掺量阈值为30%,并划分出≤30%推荐直接应用、30%~40%临界调控、≥40%禁止直接应用的3个掺量区间,提出了对应区间的工程应用要求与调控方案.研究成果为北京地区高比例RAP热再生技术在道路养护工程中的精准、绿色应用提供了科学依据与技术支撑.
In order to clarify the critical dosage,road performance evolution law and control scheme of high proportion reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)of hot recycled asphalt mixture in Beijing,SMA-13 RAP with 12 years of service on high-grade roads in Beijing was taken as the research object.Hot recycled asphalt mixture with 0%to 50%RAP dosages was designed,and a series of tests were conducted on volume properties,high temperature stability,water stability,low temperature crack resistance and fatigue performance.Combined with the micro performance of the binder and the fusion characteristics of new and old asphalt,low temperature safety factor,fatigue safety factor,and comprehensive judgment index were introduced to construct a quantitative criterion for critical dosage.The control effect of aromatic oil rejuvenator(R1)and composite rejuvenator(R2)in the critical dosage range was explored.The results showed that increasing of the RAP content continuously improved the high temperature stability of the mix-ture,while the water stability showed a slow deterioration trend but still met the specification requirements.Low temperature crack resistance and fatigue performance were the main control indicators for determining the critical content;The critical performance transition range was between 30%and 40%.Within this range,the effective as-phalt film thickness of the mixture dropped below 10 μm,and the low-temperature bending tensile strain and fa-tigue life accelerated deterioration.The stiffness of the binder increased sharply,the viscoelasticity significantly weakened,and the aging degree rapidly intensified.The optimal dosage of rejuvenator for improving the performance of the critical dosage range mixture was 5%,R1 had a better control effect than R2,which can effectively improve the fusion effect of new and old asphalt,but can't completely offset the performance degradation caused by high dosage RAP.Based on quantitative criteria and the climate,transportation,and engineering characteristics of Beijing,the critical RAP content threshold for SMA-13 hot recycled asphalt mixture in Beijing was determined to be 30%,and three content intervals were divided:≤30%recommended for direct application,30%~40%critical regulation,and ≥40%prohibited for direct application.The corresponding engineering application requirements and regulation schemes for each interval were proposed.The research results provide scientific basis and technical support for the precise and green application of high proportion RAP thermal regeneration technology in road maintenance projects in Beijing.
