Based on Zhang Zhongjing's theory"blocked blood movement causing water retention",Professor Zhou Hui-fang consider that tubal hydrops as a disorder caused by blood stasis,characterized by a deficiency in the root(spleen-kid-ney yang deficiency)and excess in the manifestations.The fundamental issue lies in spleen-kidney yang deficiency,which fails to warm and promote the movement of qi,blood,and body fluids,leading to stagnation of these substances.This results in the internal generation of pathogenic factors such as blood stasis,dampness,and phlegm,which intertwine and obstruct the chong-ren channels and the reproductive system,thereby causing the disease.In clinical treatment,it is essential to ad-dress both the root and the manifestations—resolving blood stasis and promoting diuresis to eliminate pathogenic factors for the symptoms,while simultaneously reinforcing the body and regulating the menstrual cycle to address the root cause.This approach often yields significant therapeutic efficacy.
