左乙拉西坦对癫痫患儿脑电图及睡眠质量的影响OA

Objective:To observe the effect of levetiracetam on electroencephalogram(EEG)and sleep quality in children with epilepsy.Methods:A total of 30 children with epilepsy admitted to the Department of Neurology,The Second Hospital of Longyan from July 2023 to July 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using the coin-toss-ing method,with 15 cases in each group.The control group received sodium valproate,while the observation group received sodium valproate combined with levetiracetam.The adverse reactions,EEG parameters and sleep quality were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,α and β wave bands increased in both groups(P＜0.05),and were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).δ and θ wave bands decreased in both groups(P＜0.05),and were lower in the ob-servation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores decreased in both groups after treatment(P＜0.05),and were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistical-ly significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of sodium valproate treatment,the addition of levetiracetam can effectively improve EEG parameters and sleep quality in children with epilepsy without significantly increasing adverse reactions,demonstrating good safety.
