在平台航行状态下,船载地波雷达回波谱中海杂波展宽现象严重,导致更多的目标淹没在海杂波盲区中,严重影响目标检测性能.针对这一难题,本文分析了展宽海杂波与海杂波内目标在回波波形特征以及时频脊线能量幅度特征上的关键差异:一为展宽海杂波与海杂波内目标回波的波形特征明显不同;二为海杂波时频脊线与目标时频脊线能量幅度变化规律的不同.基于此两种特征差异,提出一种基于变分模态分解-时频分析(Variational modal decomposition-time fre-quency analysis,VMD-TFA)相结合的船载地波雷达展宽海杂波内目标检测方法,通过提取并融合两种回波的特性差异,能够有效实现展宽海杂波背景下的目标检测.仿真及实测船载地波雷达数据验证结果表明,该方法在展宽海杂波内的目标检测率可达90%,具有良好的检测效果.

Under navigation state of shipborne platforms,high frequence surface wave radar systems experience severe sea clutter spreading in the echo spectrum,causing targets to be obscured within the sea clutter blind zone and significantly degrading detection performance.To address this challenge,this study proposes a novel shipborne ground wave radar target detection method for broadened sea clutter environments,based on Variational Mode Decomposition-Time Frequency Analysis(VMD-TFA).The proposed approach exploits two key discriminative features between broadened sea clutter and targets.Echo waveform characteristics-broadened sea clutter exhibits irregular,smooth waveforms,whereas target echoes demonstrate symmetry with distinct"glitch"artifacts.Time-frequency ridge properties-sea clutter shows abrupt energy amplitude variations and short-duration ridges,while target echoes maintain stable,long-term ridge continuity.Leveraging these differential characteristics,the method ef-fectively detects targets within broadened sea clutter.Validation through both simulations and measured shipborne ground wave radar data demonstrates the method's robust performance,achieving a detection rate of 90%in challenging sea clutter conditions.
