数字乡村发展对农业全要素生产率增长的影响研究OACHSSCD
The impact of digital rural development on the growth of agricultural total factor productivity:from the perspective of scale operation and industrial agglomeration
探讨数字乡村发展对农业全要素生产率(TFP)增长的影响,为实现农业提档升级和建设农业强国提供决策参考.基于 2011-2022年全国 31个省份(不包括港澳台地区)的面板数据,利用熵值法测算数字乡村发展水平,运用 EBM-SE模型核算农业 TFP增长,实证分析数字乡村发展对农业 TFP增长的影响.结果表明:数字乡村发展势头强劲,地区之间存在明显的"数字鸿沟";农业 TFP年均增长 4.45%,依靠农业技术进步和技术效率的"双轮"驱动;数字乡村发展显著促进了农业 TFP增长,经过内生性和稳健性检验之后,这一结论仍然成立;数字乡村发展不仅可以通过带动农业技术进步和技术效率来促进农业 TFP增长,还可以通过促进规模经营和产业集聚间接提升农业 TFP;南方、城镇化发展水平较低以及产业结构升级较快的地区,数字乡村发展对农业 TFP提升效应更为明显.据此,建议把握数字乡村发展的机遇,激发数字乡村发展促进农业 TFP增长的动能,重视规模经营和产业集聚效应发挥的作用,并针对不同地区采取差异化的发展策略.
This article examines the impact of digital rural development on the growth of agricultural total factor productivity(TFP),providing policy-relevant evidence for agricultural upgrading and the construction of an agricultural powerhouse.Based on panel data from 31 provinces(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan)from 2011 to 2022,this study empirically analyzes the effect of digital rural development on agricultural TFP growth,while the EBM-SE model is applied to calculate agricultural TFP growth.Results indicate that:1)digital rural development has shown strong momentum,accompanied by a pronounced reginal"digital divide";the average annual growth rate of agricultural TFP is 4.45%,driven by the dual forces of technological progress and technical efficiency improvement;2)digital rural development significantly promotes agricultural TFP growth,and this conclusion remains robust after accounting for endogeneity and conducting robustness tests;3)digital rural development enhances agricultural TFP not only directly by driving technological progress and technical efficiency,but also indirectly by promoting scale management and industrial agglomeration;and 4)the positive effect of digital rural development on agricultural TFP is more pronounced in southern regions with lower levels of urbanization and faster structural upgrading.Based these findings,this paper suggests:seizing the opportunities of digital rural development,stimulating the power of digital rural development to promote the growth of agricultural TFP,paying attention to the scale management and industry agglomeration effect,and taking differentiated development strategies according to different regions.
