The research progress on utilizing heat pipe technology to mitigate soil frost heave is reviewed.The phenomenon of soil frost heave and its management methods are explained.The working principle of heat pipe technology and its research status both domesti-cally and internationally are systematically analyzed.The application practice of heat pipe technology in alle-viating soil frost heave is discussed.Research shows that while heat pipe technology still faces practical challenges such as cost control and maintenance man-agement in actual applications,its potential in the field of soil frost heave prevention and control is immense.
