重新考察类RECTANGLE对称密码算法的设计OA

Revisiting Design of RECTANGLE-Like Symmetric-Key Ciphers

轻量级分组密码算法 TANGRAM 以及认证加密与杂凑函数算法族 KNOT 基于 RECTANGLE算法而设计,通过选取 S 盒与线性层移位参数,实现差分迹的最大差分概率与线性迹的最大线性相关性平方两项重要评估指标的最大化.但这些算法中的差分迹与线性迹中总包含有迭代迹,且这样的迭代迹可能会形成聚集效应,可以用最小平均重量增长这一指标来衡量.本文利用平均重量增长能被快速计算的特性,重新考察了类 RECTANGLE 密码算法的 S 盒与线性层移位参数选取流程,将全部的移位参数选择纳入考虑,也将迭代迹聚集效应纳入考虑.并提出将 TANGRAM 与 KNOT 的 S 盒替换成 RECTANGLE 的S 盒,能增强它们抵抗差分密码分析与线性密码分析的能力.

Lightweight block cipher TANGRAM as well as authenticated encryption with associated data and hashing algorithms KNOT are designed based on RECTANGLE algorithm.By selecting S-boxes and shift offsets of linear later,two key evaluation indicators,the maximum differential prob-ability of differential trails and the maximum linear correlation square of linear trails,are maximized.Nevertheless,the differential trails and linear trails of these algorithms always contain iterative trails,and such iterative trails may have a clustering effect,which can be measured by the minimum average weight growth.Taking advantage of the feature that this indicator can be quickly calculated,this study revisits the S-box and shift offsets selection process of RECTANGLE-like cipher,in which all possibilities of shift offsets are taking into consideration,and the clustering effect of iterative trails is also taken into account.Finally,the study proposes that replacing the S-box in TANGRAM and KNOT with the S-box of RECTANGLE can enhance their resistances to differential cryptanalysis and linear cryptanalysis.
