A Segmentation Method for Combined Bonus Actions in Competitive Gymnastics based on Backlit Image Correction

提出基于逆光图像校正的竞技体操连接加分动作分割方法(逆光图像校正法),补偿逆光导致的局部过曝与欠曝,提高动作分割精度.校正逆光图像的暗区与亮区,利用多尺度融合金字塔融合亮暗区域;采用混合高斯背景建模处理校正后图像,获取背景模型,并结合改进ViBe算法分割动作.实验结果表明,该方法可提升图像信息熵与平均梯度,分割连接加分动作,在不同光照强度下动作分割的边界平滑度较高,为竞技体操评分自动化与科学化提供理论支撑.

A competitive gymnastics connection bonus action segmentation method based on backlight image cor-rection(Backlight Image Correction Method)is proposed to compensate for local overexposure and underexposure caused by backlight,thereby improving the accuracy of action segmentation.This method corrects the dark and bright areas of backlight images and utilizes a multi-scale fusion pyramid to fuse these bright and dark regions.It employs Gaussian Mixture Model(GMM)background modeling to process the corrected images,obtaining a back-ground model,and combines it with an improved ViBe algorithm for action segmentation.Experimental results dem-onstrate that this method can enhance the image information entropy and average gradient,effectively segment con-nection bonus actions,and achieve high boundary smoothness in action segmentation under different light intensi-ties,providing theoretical support for the automation and scientific assessment of competitive gymnastics scoring.
