随着环保意识的增强和可持续发展策略的推进,"以竹代塑"已成为家具行业的新趋势.涂饰作为提升竹质板材外观品质及功能特性的关键工艺,在家具和家居制品中的应用备受关注.概述了竹集成材、竹重组材和竹展平材等家居常用竹质板材的表面特征,并重点分析了其涂饰性能的研究现状,主要涵盖防护性、物理性能及化学稳定性等方面的最新进展.同时,探讨了竹材基材特性、涂料种类与涂饰工艺对涂饰效果的影响,旨在为竹质板材的涂饰性能研究和家具制造中的应用提供理论支持,助力竹材在家具行业中的推广应用,推动家具制造业向绿色可持续的方向发展.
With rising global awareness of environmental protection and the ongoing advancement of sustainable development strategies,the shift toward replacing petroleum-based plastics with renewable materials has become a key objective in the furniture manufacturing industry.Among the alternative materials under consideration,bamboo has emerged as a particularly promising option due to its rapid growth cycle,high resource utilization rate,carbon sequestration potential,and excellent mechanical properties.As a biodegradable,abundant,and cost-effective natural material,bamboo is becoming widely adopted in the production of furniture and household products,aligning with broader goals of environmental sustainability.In this context,surface finishing plays a vital role in enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functional performance of bamboo-based panels.An effective finishing process can greatly improve surface protection,durability,water resistance,and chemical stability,ensuring that bamboo products meet the rigorous demands of modern interior applications.This review provides a systematic analysis of the finishing performance and surface characteristics of three representative bamboo panel types commonly used in household furniture:laminated bamboo lumber,reconstituted bamboo composites,and flattened bamboo boards.Their surface morphologies—including fiber arrangement,porosity,roughness,and surface chemistry—are examined in relation to coating film formation,interfacial adhesion,and surface uniformity.Recent studies are reviewed in terms of their progress on mechanical properties,including hardness,abrasion resistance,and impact resistance,as well as on long-term chemical and environmental stability.Furthermore,the effects of different bamboo substrate properties,types and compositions of coating materials,and various finishing techniques such as brushing,spraying,and flow coating are discussed to evaluate their collective influence on the overall finishing outcome.Particular attention is given to the structural complexity and heterogeneity of bamboo,including its anisotropic texture,variations in surface energy,and the presence of natural extractives,all of which influence coating adhesion and performance consistency.By integrating insights from bamboo material science,surface engineering,and process optimization,this review aims to offer a comprehensive theoretical foundation and practical reference for improving bamboo finishing techniques.The findings are expected to facilitate the broader application of bamboo in high-performance furniture manufacturing and to promote the industry's transition toward green,low-carbon,and resource-efficient production systems.
