Digitization of agriculture is considered to be another revolution in the fieldof agriculture.In the era of digital economy,the United States has taken agriculturaldigitalization as a strategic focus and priority devel-opment direction,whose high level ofagricultural digitalization is achieved earlier than China both in theoreti-cal research andpolicy practice.Through combing,it is found that the United States takes the digital economy-development strategy as an opportunity,the construction of rural broadband network as astarting point,the promotion and application of digital technology as priority,and the qualityand safety traceability supervision of agricultural products as the core to continuouslypromote agricultural digitalization.By summarizing the experi-ence of the United States,thispaper is to propose the Chinese path to work out the strategic planning and lay-out ofagricultural digitalization,consolidate the foundation of agricultural digitalizationoperation,attach impor-tance to the research and application of agricultural digital technology,and strengthen the traceability supervi-sion of agricultural products safety,looking forwardto providing reference for subsequent theoretical research and policy reform.
