监狱男性服刑人员儿童期虐待对共情的影响:认知重评的中介作用OA

Objective:To explore the relationship between childhood maltreatment and empathy among prison in-mates,and analyze the mediating role of cognitive reappraisal.Methods:A total of 739 inmates were tested using the Childhood maltreatment Questionnaire,Interpersonal Response Index Scale,and Emotion Regulation Questionnaire.Results:① Childhood maltreatment was significantly negatively correlated with empathy(r=-0.251,P＜0.001)and cognitive reappraisal(r=-0.230,P＜0.001),while empathy was significantly positively correlated with cognitive re-appraisal(r=0.260,P＜0.001).Empathy showed a significant negative correlation with physical neglect,emotional neglect,and emotional abuse(r=-0.166,-0.259,-0.144;P＜0.001),while no significant correlation was found with sexual abuse or physical abuse(P＞0.05);Childhood maltreatment showed significant negative correlations with per-spective-taking,fantasy,and empathic concern(r=-0.253,-0.182,-0.367;P＜0.001),and a significant positive cor-relation with personal distress(r=0.154,P＜0.001).② The mediating effect test indicated that childhood abuse could significantly negatively predict empathy(β=-0.202,P＜0.001,95％CI[-0.273-0.132]),and cognitive reassess-ment played a partial mediating role in the impact of childhood abuse on empathy,with an effect value of-0.049(95％CI[-0.082]The indirect effect value accounted for 19.52％of the total effect value(-0.024]).Conclusion:Child-hood maltreatment not only directly affects empathy levels,but can also affect the empathy levels of inmates through the mediating effect of cognitive reappraisal.
