[Objective]To further assess the mineral resource potential in the Shennongjia area,this study conducted an assessment of mineral resource potential based on multi-objective regional geochemical survey data in the area.[Methods]Based on a comprehensive analysis of the regional metallogenic geological background,a systematic analysis was conducted on 54 indicators covered by soil sample analysis and testing.This primarily includes evaluating the content,spatial distribution,and combination characteristics of elements and compounds,thereby delineating anomalous areas of metallogenic elements.[Results]Based on the mineral resource potential assessment system,31 multi-element combination anomalies were delineated according to genetic mechanisms(including 10 ferrous metal anomalies,7 rare element anomalies,8 non-ferrous metal anomalies,and 6 rare earth element anomalies).[Conclusions]Through a comprehensive analysis of the soil geochemical anomaly characteristics and metallogenic geological conditions in the Shennongjia area,effective metallogenic predictions were made,providing clear targets for subsequent mineral exploration efforts.
