神经退行性疾病(Neurodegenerative diseases,NDD)是一组因神经元和神经胶质细胞变性、死亡及功能丧失而导致的慢性进行性神经系统疾病,主要包括阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer's disease,AD)、帕金森病(Parkinson's disease,PD)等.目前,该类疾病的发病机制尚不完全清楚,现有治疗方法仍难以阻止疾病进展.经皮耳迷走神经电刺激(Transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation,taVNS)是一种安全、非侵入性的神经调控技术,与传统治疗方法相比具有不良反应少、耐受性好等优势.近年来,taVNS作为一种新兴的治疗方法,在神经退行性疾病治疗中的潜力逐渐受到关注.本文聚焦于AD和PD,就taVNS防治神经退行性疾病的可能机制和应用进行探讨,为临床上神经退行性疾病的治疗提供新思路.

Neurodegenerative diseases(NDDs)are a group of chronic,progressive neurological disorders characterized by the degeneration,death,and functional loss of neurons and glial cells,with Alzheimer's disease(AD)and Parkinson's disease(PD)being the most common types.At present,due to an incomplete understanding of their pathogenesis,existing therapeutic strategies remain limited in their ability to halt disease progression.Transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation(taVNS)is a safe and non-invasive neuromodulation technique that offers advantages over traditional therapeutic approaches,including fewer side effects and better tolerability.In recent years,taVNS has garnered increasing attention as an emerging therapeutic approach for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.This review focuses on AD and PD,discussing the potential mechanisms and therapeutic applications of taVNS in the prevention and treatment of these disorders,with the aim of providing novel insights for clinical management.
