With the continuous increase in the number of coal terminals and gradually saturated freight volume in recent years,each coal terminal encounters severe market competition.Newly-built terminals confront with many unfavorable factors such as strict approval policies,high investment costs and operation risks,and long construction period.Therefore,the improvement of coal loading efficiency and berth capacity for accommodating ships has become an unremitting goal for every operator and designer of coal terminals.the improvement of capacity and efficiency for the existing coal shipping terminals,full play given to the potential shipping capacity of the existing terminals,and the raised core competitiveness of enterprises will be an inevitable trend for the high-quality development of coal terminals and necessary requirements for building intensive ports.
