肝脏内脏幼虫移行症一例OA

We reported a rare case of hepatic visceral larva migrans(VLM).A 55-year-old man was admitted after a hepatic mass was incidentally detected during a routine physical examination.Preoperative PET/MR demonstrated a branch-like and nodular lesion in hepatic segment Ⅷ with mildly increased uptake and restricted diffusion,raising suspicion for cholangiocarcinoma.Robotic-assisted partial hepatectomy was performed using the Da Vinci robotic system.Histopathological examination revealed multifocal eosinophilic abscesses with abundant Charcot-Leyden crystals and degenerated larval structures,confirming the hepatic VLM.This case highlights that VLM should be considered in the differential diagnosis of hepatic space-occupying lesions,particularly when eosinophilia is present,to reduce misdiagnosis and inappropriate management.Robot-assisted surgery has demonstrated certain technical advantages in the resection of hepatic lesions located in anatomically complex regions;however,its clinical value still requires further validation through the accumulation of more cases and additional studies.
