Automatic Geometric Positioning Method for Optical Satellite Images Assisted by SAR Images

利用SAR卫星影像和光学卫星影像在几何定位方面的互补特性,提出了一种SAR影像辅助的光学卫星影像高精度自动几何定位方法.首先对SAR正射影像和目标光学卫星影像进行重叠检测;再利用多模态匹配算法对光学影像和SAR正射影像进行影像匹配和控制点优选;最后以匹配的虚拟控制点和光学影像为输入信息,基于有理函数模型进行平差解算,实现光学卫星影像的精准几何定位.结果表明,该方法显著提高了光学卫星影像的几何定位精度,且具有较高的自动计算效率,对于地形图测绘领域中的影像快速更新生产具有一定的指导意义.

We proposed a high-precision automatic geometric positioning method for optical satellite images assisted by SAR images,which took advantage of the complementary characteristics of SAR and optical satellite images in geometric positioning.Firstly,the SAR DOMs and the target optical satellite images were superimposed detection.Then,a multi-modal matching algorithm was used to perform image matching and control point optimization for optical images and SAR DOMs.Finally,the matched virtual control points and optical images were used as input information,and perform block adjustment using the rational function model to achieve accurate geometric positioning of optical satellite images.The method proposed in this paper can greatly improve the geometric positioning accuracy of optical satellite images,and hashigh automatic calculation efficiency,which has certain guiding significance for the rapid update production of topographic maps in the field of photogrammetry.
