基于Sentinel-2影像的火烧迹地提取及火烈程度分析OA
Extraction of burned areas and analysis of fire severity based on Sentinel-2 imagery
近年来,在全球气候变化与人类活动交织影响下,森林火灾对生态安全与可持续发展构成严峻威胁.本文以2023年云南省玉溪市九溪镇森林火灾为例,基于灾前灾后哨兵二号一级C级(Sentinel-2 L1C)影像,采用归一化植被指数(INDV)、基于红边波段构建的修正INDV指数、基于短波红外波段构建的归一化燃烧指数(RNB)及光谱角法(MSA)分别提取九溪镇火烧迹地信息,并分析火烈程度的空间分布特征.研究结果表明,①通过INDV、RNB和MSA的对比分析可得,短波红外驱动的RNB差值法提取效果最优,边界连续性强,能够准确区分不同燃烧强度区域;②通过红边波段修正的INDV1 指数在植被指数法中表现出对植被损伤的高敏感性,验证了其光谱优势;③MSA受大气与地表差异干扰较大,更适用于小面积迹地提取;④对火烈程度分级分析得出,中度损伤区域占主导地位(42%),且火势沿东北风向西南蔓延,与研究区季风特征高度吻合.研究证实哨兵二号(Sentinel-2)数据在火灾评估中的高效性与实用性,为西南山地生态脆弱区的灾后恢复与风险管理提供了科学支撑.
In recent years,under the combined influence of global climate change and human activities,forest fires have posed a severe threat to ecological security and sustainable development.Taking the 2023 forest fire in Jiuxi Town,Yuxi City,Yunnan Province as an example,using pre-fire and post-fire Sentinel-2 Level-1C(Sentinel-2 L1C)images,this study extracted the burned area information of Jiuxi Town utilizing the normalized difference vegetation index(INDV),a modified index based on the red edge band,the normalized burn ratio(RNB)based on the short-wave infrared band,and the spectral angle mapping(MSA)method.Additionally,the spatial distribution characteristics of fire severity were analyzed.The results are as follows.① The comparative analysis of INDV,RNB,and MSA indicates that the RNB difference method driven by short-wave infrared achieves the optimal extraction effect,with strong boundary continuity,and can accurately distinguish areas with different burn intensities.② The INDV1 index modified by the red edge band exhibits high sensitivity to vegetation dam-age among vegetation index methods,verifying its spectral advantages.③ The MSA method is greatly interfered by atmo-spheric and surface differences and is more suitable for extracting small-scale burned areas.④ The classification analysis of fire severity reveals that moderately damaged areas are dominant(accounting for 42%),and the fire spread from northeast to southwest,which is highly consistent with the monsoon characteristics of the study area.This study confirms the efficiency and practicality of Sentinel-2 data in fire assessment,providing scientific support for post-fire restoration and risk manage-ment in the ecologically fragile mountainous areas of Southwest China.
