沙埋对沙质盐碱地人工种植碱蓬生长与饲用特性的影响OA
Effects of sand burial on the growth and forage traits of artificially cultivated Suaeda glauca in sandy saline-alkali soil
沙埋是风沙盐碱区常见的生态过程,可显著改变盐生植物生境,并影响其生长适应.为评估沙埋对盐生饲用植物的生长与饲用特性的影响,以内蒙古典型中重度盐碱地人工种植碱蓬(Suaeda glauca)为对象,测定了不同沙埋处理0 cm(对照)、轻度沙埋(5 cm)、中度沙埋(10 cm)和重度沙埋(15 cm)下碱蓬种群盖度、密度、高度、归一化差分植被指数(normalized difference vegetation index,NDVI)等生长指标和粗蛋白(crude protein,CP)、中性洗涤纤维(neutral detergent fiber,NDF)与酸性洗涤纤维(acid detergent fiber,ADF)含量等饲用特性指标变化,并分析了不同沙埋处理下土壤理化性质的变化.结果表明:不同沙埋处理程度对碱蓬生长的影响存在差异.随着沙埋程度增加,株高和盖度总体升高,重度处理下分别由(4.5±1.5)cm和28.0%±4.0%增至(9.8±2.0)cm和49.0%±7.0%,但密度由(180±10)株/m2降至(125±10)株/m2;NDVI在中度沙埋处理下最高(0.80±0.10),说明中度沙埋更有利于碱蓬生长指标的协调改善.碱蓬饲用特性对沙埋处理反应明显,其中中度沙埋处理下CP、NDF和ADF分别达到(210±18)g/kg、62.0%±3.0%和34.0%±2.5%,表明中度沙埋显著改变了碱蓬的饲用特性.随着沙埋程度增加,电导率(EC)和Na⁺分别由(1.82±0.14)mS/cm和(5.10±0.28)mg/g降至(1.05±0.11)mS/cm和(3.90±0.18)mg/g,而土壤有机碳(SOC)、全氮(TN)和AP均在中度沙埋处理下达到较高水平,分别为(4.16±0.16)g/kg、(0.36±0.04)g/kg和(7.50±0.60)mg/kg,表明中度沙埋在缓解土壤盐分胁迫和改善养分状况方面综合效果较好.总体而言,中度沙埋在改善土壤环境和促进碱蓬生长方面效果较为明显,并显著影响其饲用特性,可为沙质盐碱地人工种植碱蓬的沙埋调控提供参考.
Sand burial is a common ecological process in wind-sandy saline-alkali regions and can substantially alter the habitat conditions of halophytes,thereby affecting their growth and adaptive performance.To evaluate the effects of sand burial on the growth and forage traits of halophytic forage plants,artificially cultivated Suaeda glauca growing in a typical moderately to heavily saline-alkali field in Inner Mongolia was selected as the study species.Four sand burial treatments were established:0 cm(control),5 cm(light burial),10 cm(moderate burial),and 15 cm(severe burial).Growth parameters,including population coverage,density,plant height,and normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),together with forage traits-related indices,including crude protein(CP),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),and acid detergent fiber(ADF),were determined.Soil physicochemical properties under different burial treatments were also analyzed.The results showed that the effects of sand burial on the growth of S.glauca differed among burial depths.With increasing burial depth,plant height and coverage increased overall.The hight and coverage of plants under severe treatment increased from(4.5±1.5)cm and 28.0%±4.0%to(9.8±2.0)cm and 49.0%±7.0%,respectively,but the population density decreased from(180±10)to(125±10)plants m⁻².NDVI was highest under moderate burial(0.80±0.10),indicating that this treatment was more conducive to the coordinated improvement of plant growth performance.The forage traits of S.glauca also responded markedly to sand burial.Under moderate burial,CP,NDF,and ADF reached(210±18)g/kg,62.0%±3.0%,and 34.0%±2.5%,respectively,suggesting that moderate burial significantly altered forage traits-related traits.In addition,with increasing burial depth,soil EC and Na⁺ de-creased from(1.82±0.14)mS/cm and(5.10±0.28)mg/g to 1.05±0.11 mS/cm and 3.90±0.18 mg/g,respec-tively,whereas SOC,TN,and AP reached relatively high levels under moderate burial,with values of(4.16±0.16)g/kg,(0.36±0.04)g/kg,and(7.50±0.60)mg/kg,respectively.These results indicate that moderate burial had a rela-tively favorable overall effect on alleviating soil salt stress and improving soil nutrient status.Overall,moderate sand buri-al was more effective in improving the soil environment and promoting the growth of S.glauca,while also significantly af-fecting its forage traits.These findings provide a theoretical basis for the regulation of sand burial in the artificial cultiva-tion of S.glauca on sandy saline-alkali land.
