Effect of Pyrolysis Conditions on Adsorption of Heavy Metal Cadmium and Lead by Biochar

[目的]利用污泥和园林废弃物制备生物质基活性炭,并评估其在镉(Cd)和铅(Pb)污染土壤修复中的应用潜力.[方法]通过不同热解温度和时间的处理,制备了多种生物炭,并对其产率、重金属含量及吸附性能进行系统分析.[结果]生物炭产率随热解温度升高和热解时间延长而降低,污泥生物炭产率高于园林废弃物生物炭.热解温度对生物炭吸附重金属的能力有显著影响,而热解时间对其影响相对较小.在700℃下热解4 h 的园林废弃物生物炭对Pb2+和Cd2+的吸附效果最好,吸附容量分别达到193.26和75.74 mg/g.综合考虑产率、能耗及吸附容量,400℃热解2 h 制备的园林废弃物生物炭对Pb2+污染的吸附效果较好,而300℃热解2 h 制备的园林废弃物生物炭对Cd2+的吸附效果较好.[结论]该研究为土壤重金属污染的有效治理提供了科学依据和技术支撑,同时推动了废弃物资源化利用和环境保护的双赢发展.

[Objective]To prepare biomass-based activated carbon from sludge and garden waste and evaluate its potential application in the remediation of cadmium(Cd)and lead(Pb)contaminated soils.[Method]Various biochars were prepared through treatment at different py-rolysis temperatures and durations,and their yield,heavy metal content,and adsorption performance were systematically analyzed.[Result]The biochar yield decreased with increasing pyrolysis temperature and prolonged pyrolysis time,with sludge-based biochar yielding higher than garden waste-based biochar.The pyrolysis temperature has a significant effect on the ability of biochar to adsorb heavy metals,while the pyrol-ysis time has a relatively small effect on it.Garden waste-based biochar pyrolyzed at 700℃ for 4 h exhibited the best adsorption effect for Pb2+and Cd2+,with adsorption capacities reaching 193.26 and 75.74 mg/g,respectively.Considering yield,energy consumption,and adsorption capacity comprehensively,garden waste-based biochar pyrolyzed at 400℃ for 2 h showed better adsorption performance for Pb2+contamina-tion,while that pyrolyzed at 300℃ for 2 h demonstrated superior adsorption for Cd2+.[Conclusion]This study provides scientific evidence and technical support for the effective management of soil heavy metal contamination,while also promoting the win-win development of waste resource utilization and environmental protection.
