侗戏及其文化空间的整体保护OA

This study takes Dong drama scripts as its primary research material.By examining how Dong cultural elements are represented in Dong drama and the current state of its safeguarding,it explores the importance of holistic safeguarding.Dong drama is an important form of intangible cultural heritage in Dong areas.It is characterized by self-organization,non-professional participation,and entertainment for the community.The content of Dong drama can be divided into three major categories:original works based on Dong culture,adaptations from Han culture,and works for the dissemination of government policies.Rice fields and mountain forests outside Dong villages,drum towers,drum-tower squares and opera stages within the villages,as well as wind-and-rain bridges,village gates and well pavilions,are not only scenic settings depicted in Dong drama,but also physical spaces closely connected with the opera.The safeguarding and inheritance of Dong drama require preserving its features of self-organization,self-performance and self-entertainment,and should also be integrated with the protection of traditional Dong villages and cultural spaces such as drum towers,drum-tower squares and opera stages.The holistic safeguarding of Dong drama and its cultural spaces can provide references for the integrated protection and sustainable development of performing intangible cultural heritage and their associated cultural spaces.
