Objective To investigate the medication law of national TCM master Zhang Lei in treating spleen and stomach system diseases with harmony regulation method;To provide insights for clinical treatment.Methods The medical records and outpatient cases in Zhang Lei's related works were collected and a database was established.IBM SPSS Statistics 27 and SPSS Modeler 18.0 software were employed to analyze the prescriptions for spleen and stomach diseases through frequency statistics,association rules,clustering analysis,and factor analysis.Results A total of 208 cases were included,involving 9 diseases such as diarrhea,gastric stuffiness,and abdominal pain,as well as 287 symptoms including diarrhea loose stools and sleep disturbances.Commonly used prescriptions included Shanqian Decoction,Gegen Qinlian Decoction and Shenling Baizhu Powder.A total of 163 kinds of Chinese materia medica were included,with high-frequency herbs such as raw Plantaginis Semen,Scutellariae Radix,Codonopsis Radix,fried Crataegi Fructus and Coptidis Rhizoma.The properties of the 163 kinds of Chinese materia medica were predominantly warm,neutral and cold,with sweet,pungent and bitter tastes being most common.The primary meridians targeted were the spleen,lung and stomach.17 association rules,6 core combinations and 5 common factors were obtained.Conclusion Zhang Lei summarizes the pathogenesis of spleen and stomach diseases as the accumulation of damp heat,spleen deficiency and excess dampness,accumulation of damp heat and stagnation,mixed cold and heat.The commonly used prescriptions are Shanqian Decoction,Gegen Qinlian Decoction,Shenling Baizhu Powder,Xiaochaihu Decoction and Banxia Xiexin Decoction.The medication is mild,the raw and processed are compatible,and sweet,pungent and bitter are used together,in order to rebuild the dynamic balance of zang-fu organs,essence,qi,blood,body fluid and yin and yang,and restore the physiological state of"clear yang ascending and turbid yin descending".
