Film production industry is undergoing production technology fusion and pipeline reconstruction driven by artifi-cial intelligence(AI).This paper explores how the integration of AI and virtual production is redefining the production work-flows of motion pictures,television programs,and immersive media content.By automating labor-intensive tasks,AI has significantly improved production efficiency,effectively reduced costs,and accelerated project delivery,while elevating vi-sual quality and enabling more creative narrative expression.From concept development,pre-production,and on-set shoot-ing to post-production and real-time adjustments,AI has become an indispensable tool for virtual production.This paper elaborates on the specific applications of AI in each stage of virtual production,analyzes the opportunities it brings as well as the technical and ethical challenges it faces,and outlines future directions for the integration of AI and virtual production,emphasizing the core role of human-machine collaboration in shaping the creative industry.The study shows that the com-bination of AI and virtual production ushers in a future full of boundless immersive creativity,whether in improving effi-ciency,reducing costs,or unlocking new creative possibilities.
