个人辐射剂量仪佩戴角度的变化对示值读数的影响OACHSSCD
Influence of the Change of Personal Radiation Dosimeter Wearing Angle on the Indication Value
个人辐射剂量仪用于监测个人受照剂量,从事放射工作的人员可以通过读取个人剂量当量率来估计和判断所处辐射环境中的剂量率大小,因此所读取的个人剂量当量率的数值至关重要.放射工作者常将个人辐射剂量仪卡在胸口衣物上或置于口袋中,易与辐射入射的方向呈现多角度,本文依托山东省计量科学研究院防护水平X、γ辐射空气比释动能率标准装置,对RG1100型号的个人辐射剂量仪进行多角度校准.结果表明,该型号个人辐射剂量仪在与辐射入射方向呈0°、90°、180°时,其个人剂量当量率差异显著,90°时的偏差及校准因子也最大,说明在从事X射线相关工作时,放射工作者应注意正确佩戴个人辐射剂量仪,从而免受过量辐射的危害.
Personal radiation dosimeters are used to monitor the dose of radiation that an individual has been exposed to.Personnel engaged in radiation-related work can estimate and determine the magnitude of dose rate in the radiation environment they are in by reading the personal dose equivalent rate on the personal radiation dosimeter.Therefore,the value of the personal dose equivalent rate is particularly important.The personal radiation dosimeters are often stuck to the clothes on the chest or placed in pockets,which are often positioned at multiple angles to the direction of radiation.In this paper,based on the air kerma standard equipment of X-ray and γ-ray protection in Shandong Institute of Metrology,the RG1100 model of personal radiation dosimeters is calibrated at multiple angles.It is found that the personal dose equivalent rate of this model of personal radiation dosimeter varies greatly when it is at 0°,90° and 180° to the direction of radiation,and the deviation is the largest when it is at 90°.The calibration factor of the personal radiation dosimeters relative to the standard value is the largest when it is at 90° to the direction of radiation.The results show that when engaged in X-ray related work,radiation workers should pay attention to wearing personal radiation dosimeters correctly in order to avoid the hazards of excessive radiation.
