ISSN国际标准的变化与我国标准化工作的应对之策OA

To adapt to the changes in the identification needs of serials in the network environment and align with the latest development trends of bibliographic control for serials in the international field,the ISSN(International Standard Serial Number)international standard has been revised in key aspects including scope of identification,principles of assignment,and application in the network environment.This paper systematically analyzes its latest changes and their underlying drives,reviews China's adoption process and current implementation status of the standard,and puts forward suggestions for improving the standardization level of identification for serials in China:accelerate the revision of national standards by integrating core updates from the international standard while adapting them to domestic publishing practices;strengthen the leading role of the National Library of China in ISSN implementation and optimize the ISSN allocation mechanism to promote comprehensive identification of serials;enhance research on international bibliographic theories and standards to improve the quality of bibliographic data for serials in libraries.
